Not sure where to start in terms of deciphering these codes. Corona is a premium beer, classic and authentic, recognized worldwide for its high quality, refreshing taste and image. Not exactly sure how to make sense of these codes as I would have thought the three numbers would be the day and the first letter be the year, but it doesn't seem right for F or E as that would be either 2006 for F and 2005 for E? I recently came across two separate cases of beer (from different retailers) with differing codes for the bottles. From what I could find previously they used a two letter + two number combination to decipher the code. The second case of beer have the code: E062C059 ( ) So I am curious as after much Googling, it seems that Corona has changed their freshness date labeling process. The first case of beer have the code: F282C059 ( ) Instead of the two letter + two number sequence (seen listed on the previous link), I have the following: That do not seem to match the freshness codes listed here: CNN Sans ™ & © 2016 Cable News Network. So I am curious as after much Googling, it seems that Corona has changed their freshness date labeling process. ![]() Market holidays and trading hours provided by Copp Clark Limited.
